When firefighters leave the fire line after battling wildfires, they often carry more than physical exhaustion. Long days, dangerous conditions, and emotional stress can take a lasting toll on their mental well-being.

That’s where Golden Healers steps in.

Our certified therapy dog teams deploy to wildfire base camps across Utah, providing firefighters with moments of comfort, encouragement, and emotional connection. A few minutes spent with a therapy dog can ease stress, lift spirits, and remind these heroes that their community stands behind them.

Over the past several weeks, our volunteer teams have responded to multiple wildfire deployments throughout Utah. These deployments require significant travel, fuel, lodging, supplies, and coordination—and wildfire season is far from over.

Our Goal

We’re looking for 100 Wildfire Wellness Champions who are willing to give $100.

Together, we’ll raise $10,000 to help ensure Golden Healers can continue responding whenever firefighters request our therapy dog teams.
